The Love Between Strategy & Creative was a curated event I designed for Miami Ad School Toronto, aimed at bridging the gap between two essential forces in advertising. The concept explored the dynamic relationship between insight-driven strategy and breakthrough creative — and why campaigns are strongest when both align. I developed the visual identity to reflect this duality, creating an aesthetic that symbolized collaboration, contrast, and ultimately, harmony.

This event design was created to demystify the role of the copywriter in today’s digital-driven advertising world. With a concept centered around accessibility and inspiration, I crafted visuals that reflected the clarity and modern relevance of the writing craft. The event featured Steve Persico, SVP Creative Director at Leo Burnett, who walked aspiring creatives through the fundamentals of the role, what makes great copy, and how to thrive as a writer. The design aimed to strike a balance between professional and approachable — just like the message of the event itself.

For this event, I designed the visual identity for a session dedicated to demystifying the role of the Art Director in advertising. The concept focused on clarity, creativity, and energy — reflecting the nature of the role itself. Featuring Kelsey Horne, Co-Executive Creative Director at TAXI, the talk invited aspiring creatives to explore what it means to build brands, solve problems, and lead visual storytelling. The accompanying visuals balanced boldness with approachability, inspiring attendees to envision themselves in the role and take their first steps toward a creative career.
